I’m not sure if any of you have ever noticed that some theme songs to shows are actually full length songs. For example Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, Cheers…and many others that I can’t think of right now cuz it’s early morning on a Sunday.
I’m not sure if any of you have ever LISTENED to the full length version of the songs or not…well here is one song that I’ve listened to the full version of for the first time ever, and it had me rolling!!!

How do you keep up with your favorite Authors??
I know many of us have several authors that we really enjoy reading. Authors that are best sellers, authors that only come out with a book every few years, authors from different genres…so how do YOU keep up with YOUR favorite ones?
For me, I tend to visit their websites a LOT. I’m constantly trying to keep updated with what they are doing now and what is being released from them soon. Sometimes I’m disappointed because they don’t have their next work coming out for a while…or the timing is really up-in-the-air. I probably visit their blogs because I really only have a handful of authors that I absolutely love and want to read everything they’ve come out with…but for those of you that read so many authors, how do you keep up with them? There has to be an easier way than visiting all of their websites periodically to see what is happening…right?!
Just curious! Thanks everyone.

Tony and I have made this recipe a couple of times and we loved it both times! The first time we did use A French Bread loaf but the second time we just used Texas Toast. I found this recipe on Pinterest, and it’s definitely one of my favorite places to find recipes.
- 1 Loaf of French Bread (or package of Texas Toast)
- 3-4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 2 T. Olive Oil
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
- 1/2 C. Buffalo Sauce (you can adjust the amount depending on how hot/spicy you want it.
- 1/2 C. Ranch Dressing
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 4 Green Onions, thinly sliced
- 1 bunch cilantro, chopped
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat with the olive oil. Dice chicken into bite size pieces, toss with salt & pepper, and cook in the skillet until done.
- Add garlic to the chicken for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then add the buffalo sauce, ranch, green onions and cilantro.
- While the chicken is cooking bake your french bread or Texas toast based on the package directions.
- Sprinkle the done bread with mozzarella cheese and add a heaping spoonful of the chicken mixture to the top. If you’d like, you can add ranch or blue cheese dressing to the top (as show above).
YUMMY! We took the recipe from HERE and made a few of our own adjustments.
If you were able to read my update for March on Friday, you know that I’m planning to bring you book reviews and or book updates on Tuesdays. This is because, I can’t always get a book completely read in a week with how crazy my life is and where my priorities are now.
On the weeks that I don’t have a book review to bring you, I’ll bring you a quick update of what book I’m reading and how it’s going so far.
This week I decided to get caught up with one of my absolute favorite series, The Night Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost. Here latest release in the series came out at the end of January, so I’m not too far behind. Then I’m going to move on to the end of another series I haven’t been able to finish yet, it’s a young adult series, and then we’ll see from there.
Keep your eyes out and I’m hoping to have a review for you all next Tuesday!
I’m bringing back my feature of Monday Funday back to you all. I’m hoping that by doing this, you will all be able to start your week off with a good laugh and to just put a smile on your face during Monday, the worse day of the week.
Today I bring you a funny text exchange between a father and his son, I’d seen this on Facebook a couple weeks ago, and a bit from one of my favorite Comedians Jeff Dunham…

I’m starting to take some steps to get my blog updated and to get back into the slight swing of things. I’m going to revamp my updates a bit…how many times am I going to do this you may ask…I HAVE NO CLUE! Lol. But I am committed to doing it as many times as it takes for something to freaking stick! Baby steps right?! Baby steps.
Here’s what I’m planning…
Mondays: I’m going to bring you all some fun little post to get your week started off right. Whether it’s something funny I saw on Facebook, something I stumbled upon, something someone sent me…or maybe even a funny picture of Jera. Something that is just light and fluffy!
Tuesdays: Book Review OR Update…if I have one to review. This means I might not be bringing you a book review every week, but I’ll at least update you on what progress I’m making in the book department.
Wednesdays: A fun/delicious recipe! So Tony and I do a lot of cooking at home, we are a young family with a young daughter and a lot of bills to pay! LOL. So I decided that I’m going to share a recipe that Tony and I truly enjoyed…if you want to try it out, go for it…if not, that’s fine too!
Thursdays: Movie Review…this really shouldn’t be hard for me since Tony and I really enjoy watching movies together. We talk through the movie, point out things that we like and don’t like and we REALLY ENJOY pointing out actors/actresses that we know from other things and then IMDb’ing the crap out of them. If you’ve never been introduced to IMDb, you are REALLY MISSING OUT!!!!!!!!! Check it out HERE.
Fridays: Family/Life Update…this is where I’m going to fill everyone in on what we’re planning on doing that weekend, what crazy event might have happened during the week…or maybe some fun event we’re planning on doing the next week! Whatever it will be, it will be a fun update that we’ll be excited to share with everyone.
With that being said, I hope everyone has an awesome weekend…right now Tony and I are enjoying a hot date of Umi and a Movie…Umi is our local Japanese Steak House AND we’re going to see Non-Stop!!!
